With exactly three years until the Opening Ceremony, LA28 organizers have released the official competition schedule for the 2028 Summer Olympics. This marks a significant milestone as Los Angeles prepares to host its third Olympic Games, showcasing a reimagined and dynamic lineup of events.
A Historic Schedule Shift
In a groundbreaking move, the LA28 Games will reverse the traditional order of athletics and swimming competitions. Track and field events will commence in the first week, culminating in the marathon on the final weekend. Swimming competitions will follow in the second week, concluding with the final events at SoFi Stadium.
